Zane Networks was awarded a sub-award by the District of Columbia Hospital Association to provide technical assistance under the DC Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) Grant entitled: Hospital-Based Naloxone Training and Technical Assistance. The purpose of this grant is to provide technical support for District hospitals to better distribute Naloxone (an opioid antagonist that can be used to prevent fatal overdoses) to patients identified as at risk for fatal overdoses. Under this project ZaneNet is employing a team of clinical, pharmaceutical and public health experts to assess current hospital Naloxone distribution efforts and assist with additional protocol and workflow development or modification, data collection and reporting and training and assistance efforts.
