WASHINGTON, DC – Zane Networks, LLC recently renewed both their Management Service Organization accreditation certification with The Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC) and their state designation with the Maryland Health Care Commission (MHCC). In meeting the criteria required for both certifications, Zane Networks demonstrates its commitment to employing best practices in healthcare IT and managing electronic health records.

EHNAC Management Service Organization Accreditation Program (MSOAP) ensures that organizations securely and privately store, access and/or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI) through an objective and independent audit and review process.

The Maryland Health Care Commission designates management service organizations to provide technical assistance to healthcare providers to engage in practice transformation and expand electronic health record adoption in the state. The designation requires that an organization demonstrate expertise in the health IT field to enable practice transformation, and assures healthcare providers that the organization can support them through optimized use of electronic health records systems and health IT.
