Jointly presented by Tyler Ford, VP, Strategy and Partnerships, CAQH and Jay Eisenstock, Program Manager, Zane Networks, this session will examine how an innovative partnership with the District of Columbia’s Department of Healthcare Finance (DHCF) has helped to improve coordination of benefits with commercial carriers for DC Medicaid.
Health coverage information (including third-party liability) is critical to supporting the value and efficiency of state and local Medicaid programs. Yet working with coverage data is challenging and too often results in uncaptured opportunities for leaders. In this session, participants will learn:
- The goals and objectives the District of Columbia set out for its Medicaid program
- The partnered approach Zane Networks has used to identify other payers, using a collaborative health coverage data set developed by CAQH
- Lessons learned from the partnership, including takeaways for other Medicaid leaders
