Ozioma Scott is an American Cancer Society Fellow who is currently conducting research on exercise and cancer. Her undergraduate research on the inhibitory activity of saffron on PC-3 metastatic prostate cancer cells, which she completed under supervision, ignited her interest in cancer research.
In May 2021, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Howard University, followed by a master’s degree in Public Health in December 2022. As a public health professional, she intends to be at the forefront of eliminating inequalities in health care among marginalized populations.
