Mateen Ghassemi is a second year MPH student in Health Policy at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. He graduated with a BS in Public Health and Minor in Nutritional Sciences from George Washington University in 2020. His research interests include health IT and telehealth policy and understanding how advancements in telecommunications can be used to reduce the effects of the social determinants of health. He is currently applying to medical school and hopes to serve patients at both the clinical and policy level. He is also a devoted DC sports fan and avid table tennis player
