Dylan Beard is a second-year graduate student in the Masters of Public Health program at Howard University. Dylan graduated from Hampton University with a B.S. in biochemistry. His work experience includes being an intern at Seattle Children’s Hospital where he gained valuable knowledge on protein synthesis and drug discovery methods. Most recently, Dylan interned with the Michigan Youth Violence Prevention Center where he was able to practice various methods of data collection on a youth gun violence prevention space known as The T.R.I.G.G.E.R. Project. Dylan currently works as a Health IT intern with the PHIT4DC program.
