ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Month end close and financial reporting procedures.
Identification and implementation of new processes to expedite the current financial close process.
Reconcile grant agency invoices to general ledger on a monthly basis.
Prepare financial reports for the Board of Directors and senior leadership. This includes but is not limited to the following: budget vs. actual reports, forecasting reports and general business metric reports.
Oversight and preparation of invoices billed to external clients or grantor(s).
Prepare supporting schedules in preparation for the annual financial statement audit.
Support staff by providing guidance and reviewing their daily work assignments.
Ad hoc reporting and data analysis.

Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. create pivot tables and lookup formulas).
Strong Computer Skills (Intermediate or Advanced Microsoft office).
3-5 year of accounting experience in Private or Public Industry.
Strong analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
Preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports.
Background and experience with various accounting software packages, including SAP.
Ability to work independently with limited guidance.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Experience in a not for profit industry a plus.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in private industry or a minimum of 3 years in public accounting.

Salary: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 /hour
