Position Title: SDoH Workstream Project Manager
Reports Directly To: IAPD Program Director
Location: Washington, DC
Hours Per Week: 40

Job Summary
The project manager will be responsible for supporting Health IT and projects related to Social Determinants of Health in the Washington region. The successful candidate will provide critical, day to day project management of a Medicaid grant in D.C. and support a multi-region senior project manager who will be working on shared efforts across DC, MD, and West Virginia. This role will require coordination and partnership with various teams including government agencies, providers, and community benefit organizations. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to play a major role in the HIT enabled transformation of healthcare.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties/responsibilities include the following. Other duties and special project may be assigned.
Define scope of new projects or initiatives
Develop documents needed for project (e.g. requirements, statements of work, etc.)
Gather requirements from and communicate regularly with stakeholders, including consumer representatives, to ensure business needs are met by implemented solutions
Coordinate/liaise with technical teams to ensure the work is completed on-time and on-budget
Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders
Understand implications of policy on projects and agreements/policy changes needed in place

Required Skills
Strong project management, written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter who works well independently
Ability to quickly understand technical concepts
Ability to gather requirements and manage priorities (individually and for a team)
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple job duties, including personal time management and organization skills
A desire to be great and a track record of setting and achieving goals is required
Preferred Skills
Experience with program management and administration
Basic understanding of health information technology and/or health information exchange
Business analysis experience

Education and/or Experience
4-year college degree
3+ years of work experience, preferably in a healthcare or public health-related field

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
